Opening of first solo show!

On Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., the first individual exhibition of Gabriella N. Báez, soy yo quien te ama y te duele opens at El Lobi. The exhibition presents a project indefinitely in progress. Using photography, archive materials and text, Báez takes us into their process of creating. As in a diary, the artist exposes her relationships, loves and mourning and how these become essential in thier work as an artist and thus they invites us to delve into their intimacy and reflect on the role of the diary as artistic practice.

El jueves, 4 de mayo de 2023 a las 6:00 pm inaugura en El Lobi, soy yo quien te ama y te duele, la primera exposición individual de Gabriella N. Báez. La muestra presenta un proyecto indefinidamente en proceso. Utilizando fotografía, materiales de archivo y texto, Báez nos adentra en su proceso de creación. Como en un diario, lx artista expone sus vínculos, amores y lutos y cómo estos se vuelven indispensables en su trabajo como artista y así nos invita a adentrarnos en su intimidad y reflexionar sobre el rol del diario como práctica artística.
